Buggy About Books

Each quarter students are held accountable to reach the goal of 4 chapter books. Students have the expectation to read these books at home and take a Reading Counts test on their selection and pass with a 70% or greater.

Mallory Books by Laurie Friedman
"I love Mallory book because the first book I read was Mallory Move It. It was awesome. So I got more of them. Also, they are about Mallory and she wants different stuff but she does not always get it all the time but she somethimes gets it. She has a cat named Cheeseburger, a brother named Max, her best friend is Mary Ann, her neighbors are Joey, and Winnie. Also, there is her grandpa, her dad, and her step-mom. What I like about her is that she is smart just like me and she sometimes is like me. The Mallory books I am reading are Mallory in the Spotlight, Stepfourth Mallory, and Mallory on Board."

           My favorite book is Goosebumps Hall of Horrors. I like it because it's spooky, scary, and creepy. My favorite one is The Five Masks of Dr. Scream. I would like you to get these series of Goosebumps because I will love to read them all."

"Sami loves the Magic Tree House series. her favorite Magic Tree House guide book is about Dinosaurs. Her favorite book was A Perfect Time for Pandas and Tonight on the Titanic. She learned that it sunk at 2:20 in the morning! I like the books because they go on adventures and give you facts about it. In the research guide she learned that the Brachiosaurus was the longest necked dinosaur. Plant eating dino's do not eat others."
